History
The Association of Honorary Consuls to Indonesia was established on 21 August 2008 by the Deed of Establishment No. 284 dated 21 Agustus 2008 as amended by (a) Deed No. 1 dated 2 Pebruari 2009 both drawn up by Mr. Aulia Taufani, substitute of Mr. Sutjipto, notary public in Jakarta and (b) Deed No. 104 dated 20 December 2013 drawn up by Ms. Aryanti Artisari, notary public in Jakarta.
The deed of establishment has then been (a) approved by the Indonesian Minister of Laws and Human Rights by virtue of the letter of approval No. AHU-13.AH.01.06 Tahun 2009 dated 7 Pebruari 2013 and (b) published in the State Gazette dated 17 April 2009 No. 31, Supplement No. 21.

By the foregoing, AHCI has the status of an independent legal entity giving it a legal standing to act on its own and to have assets and obligations.
Besides by the legal formalities above, AHCI has also been acknowledged by a number of Indonesian government authorities, such as, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Environment, the Cabinet Secretary, the Indonesian National Police, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of National Development Planning / Head of National Development Planning Agency and the Diplomatic Corps to Indonesia by a number of meetings and co-operations.
